Treeman Knives Put It All On The Line at The Blade

It was late afternoon on the last day of the Blade Show when father and son knifemakers Jim Behring Sr & Jim Behring Jr came to the RMJ Tactical booth with a unusual request. They had heard the racket I had just made while shooting a video of my tearing up the bottom of a 55 gallon drum with my Shrike Tomahawk, and asked if I would be willing to do the same with one of their knives. Over the course of the weekend we had joked about someone trying another brand of hawk on the drum, but a knife! I mean after all it was blade and a failure to hold up of any kind could ruin the Treeman reputation. The Behring’s did not care. Jim Sr AKA “Treeman” handed me one of their Ultra Phalanx Combat Knives with a D-guard and I put me gloves on as a audience began to form.
Having only spoken briefly with Jim the day before, I thought he was a good guy, but told him that I was going to try to break his knife more than damage the drum. I will let the video speak for itself.
I did everything in my power to break the knife by prying and smashing with it. The only noticeable damage was the very tip of the blade was chipped and as you can see in the video it did nothing to stop the penetration power of the knife.

Here is proof provided from fan the knife was still hair popping sharp.

The knife industry is full of people who talk about their knives being the best. Few would have the balls to put it on the line at the Blade show in front of everyone. Treeman knives asked for it. The have the complete and total endorsement of Modern Combative Systems and will see more from them through us. If you need a knife that can take it all contact Treemanknives.com
